FormEvo Racing blends motorsport heritage with Legal Tech innovation. Founded on the spirit of Piers Courage, one of Formula One’s last gentleman racers, we evolved our proven ecosystem model that has delivered unrivalled experiences for hundreds of Legal Tech professionals since 2022. Now, Team Principal Archie Courage and driver Simon Clark campaign factory-built GT4 machinery, targeting the 2026 British Endurance Championship title.
The team history
1942 - A Racer is Born
Piers Courage was born in Colchester into the prominent Courage brewing family. Despite a childhood of privilege and relative comfort, he was drawn to a more adrenaline fuelled life in motorsports. Racing wasn't just his passion; it was his destiny. Serendipitously, Archie Courage purchased the FormEvoRacing Lotus from Colchester and it will be the first circuit that he races this season.
1964 - The Rise Begins
Courage exploded onto the Formula Three scene with natural speed and fearless bravery before progressing rapidly through Formula Two, where he battled future world champions like Jochen Rindt. His talent was undeniable, and his reputation among racing's elite grew with every competitive drive.
1969 - Breakthrough Season
Driving Frank Williams's Brabham, Courage delivered stunning second-place finishes at Monaco and Watkins Glen. These results established Williams as a serious team and cemented Courage's status as one of the sport's brightest rising stars. The breakthrough both had fought for had arrived.
2022 - The LegalTech Ecosystem Begins
Simon Clark and FormEvo partnered to create a revolutionary LegalTech ecosystem sponsorship model. Competing in Porsche Club and Britcar championships, they delivered high-adrenaline hospitality experiences for Legal Tech vendors and clients. Designed to create natural conversations, stronger relationships, and new commercial opportunities. Hundreds of guests experienced exceptional networking opportunities, supported by phenomenal industry engagement across UK circuits.
2026 - Innovation Powers Forward
After three years racing converted road cars, FormEvo invests in factory-built GT4 machinery. Team Principal Archie Courage and driver Simon Clark target the British Endurance Championship across all eight rounds. The LegalTech ecosystem model evolves, offering unprecedented opportunity as legacy software disruption creates fresh market approaches.

Simon Clark
Five-time Porsche and Britcar Champion with consecutive titles from 2020 to 2024. Aside from dominating UK circuits, Simon's day job is in Legal Tech in the international and large law market. National A race licence holder, experienced instructor, and 2010 Dunlop Race Academy winner. Now campaigning factory GT4 machinery after a decade mastering converted road cars.
Danny Harrison
Accomplished sports car specialist bringing proven Britcar championship pedigree. Danny dominated the 2020 Britcar Endurance Championship with five wins in a Praga, followed by class runner-up in 2021. Former Ginetta GT5 Challenge podium finisher with extensive GT3 experience. His single-seater background adds versatility to our GT4 campaign.
